Niek Koning nominated EY Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year 2025

Last night, Niek Koning, founder of Secret View, was nominated together with seven other entrepreneurs for the 29th EY Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year award! The festive kick-off took place at the iconic Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. This award has been presented since 1996 and rewards changemakers who are working on the future of entrepreneurial Netherlands.

Confirmation we're on the right path
Niek Koning: “After winning an FD Gazelle and being featured in the FT1000, this is once again a great confirmation that we’re on the right track. Our long-term collaborations with leading retail and hospitality brands at home and abroad are of course the best proof of that. On top of that, our innovative approach with customer experience research, internal audits and compliance research continues to attract new clients. And a big shoutout to the team, because even though I’m nominated as ‘Entrepreneur’, I could never have gotten here without the entire Secret View team.”

EY Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year 2025
EY Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 is the most prestigious entrepreneurship award and is organized worldwide. The title puts innovative entrepreneurship clearly on a pedestal and encourages entrepreneurs to get the best out of themselves, their clients and their teams.
In the months following the announcement, all entrepreneurs will meet with an independent jury. Based on these conversations, it will ultimately be decided who wins the coveted title. There is also a public award.
Previous winners in the Emerging category include The Good Roll, Picnic, De Vegetarische Slager and Quooker. The 2025 winners will be announced in November.
