Secret View helps retail and hospitality organizations worldwide measure and improve their customer experience. We do this using our self-built mystery shopping platform, our community of 65,000+ mystery guests, and an AI-powered dashboard that you, as a developer, will help build.

Every day, we process hundreds of mystery shopping assignments and analyze large volumes of data. With smart dashboards and AI-driven features, we provide our clients with insights to continuously improve their service. Our platform is used globally and continues to grow rapidly.

About the team

As a developer, you will be part of a small and close-knit development team consisting of back-end developers, front-end developers, and a CTO. Together, you are responsible for the entire Secret View platform: from APIs and databases to dashboards and internal tooling.

We work closely together with short communication lines and a high level of mutual trust. There is plenty of room for your own input, technical discussions, and proposing improvements. You work on one central platform with multiple user groups, meaning your work has a direct and visible impact.

About the role

As a Medior Back-end Developer, you will mainly work on the back end of our platform. You develop and maintain APIs, work on new features, and improve existing functionality. You handle tasks independently but also collaborate closely with other developers and the product team.

You actively contribute to technical decisions around architecture and performance and take on increasing responsibility as you grow in the role. Due to the scale and complexity of the platform, you will work on challenging topics related to performance, stability, and scalability.

What will you do?

• Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs
• Work on both existing and new functionality within the platform
• Contribute to architecture, technical improvements, and scalability
• Collaborate with front-end developers and DevOps
• Gradually take on more responsibility within the team

What skills do you need?

• At least 3 years of experience with C#
• At least 3 years of experience with .NET Core
• At least 3 years of experience with MS SQL
• Experience building APIs

Nice to have (not required):

• ASP.NET and Entity Framework Core
• Redis and RabbitMQ
• Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD (for example Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
• Cloud environments (Google Cloud)
• Event-driven and microservices architecture

• A gross monthly salary between €2,975 and €4,080 (based on 40 hours)
• An employment contract of 36–40 hours per week
